Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu will brings all those feelings of awesomeness that was present in the anime. My only comment in this movie is that it is only 90 minutes or, it's only a movie. The point is, it's too short. If only this can be made into 12-episode anime, it would probably be better, but that's purely my opinion. Before watching Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu, i recommend watching the anime or playing the VN first.
Story: 10/10
The story takes place one year after the anime, around 10 months after the OVA. Makise Kurisu returns to Japan because she has a conference
...
or lecture in Japan. While doing so, she returns to the Future Gadget Lab. Nothing abnormal happens in Steins Gate worldline. Shiina Mayuri is alive, no SERN attacks, Kurisu is alive and both her and Okabe Rintarou is in a relationship right now. However, something weird happens to Okabe. All memories that he had from all world lines he traveled are coming back, and it gives him a bad headache. One day, while talking with Kurisu, he suddenly disappears. With no one to remembers, except Kurisu, who only vaguely remembers Okabe, can Kurisu bring Okabe back?
That is basically the summary of the story of what happen in Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu.Don't worry. I spoiled not even half of the story. The way they start from the OVA is not special, just normal, no tension at all. However, as time goes, the tension rises, and at a faster pace than the anime. This is probably due to the time restriction, 90 minutes. They end it in a way, as a Steins;Gate would expect, unbelievable and awesome and many more. Unlike the anime or the VN or the OVA, this movie does not relies on Okabe as the protagonist. Instead, it uses Kurisu.
Art:10/10
While there is not much changes in the art from the anime or OVA, this movie does not differ much from them. It's not pretty, yet it's not bad. I give 10/10 because sometimes anime movie art differs from the original anime.
Sound:10/10
They still uses the original cast. However, unlike the anime, Mamoru Miyano, seiyuu of Okabe, plays much less voice acting in here. Asami Imai, seiyuu of Kurisu, steps into the protagonist here and her voice is much more the main voice. No difference from the anime or OVA. However, there are many scenes that shows the interaction of Okabe and Kurisu, and the seiyuus done the greatest job that only seiyuus can do, to let us imagine that we are living in the movie itself. Their voice interaction is amazing, almost as same as the VN, anime or OVA. But then again, because of time restriction, the numbers of interactions are limited.
The OP is Anata no Eranda Kono Toki o,by Kanako Ito, the one that produced the anime's OP, Hacking to the Gate. Again, she produced a great OP. Incomparable to the anime but not uglier. The ED is Itsumo Kono Basho de, by Ayane. As much as i hate to admit it, this is actually a bit better than the anime's ED. The sound effects used in the movie does not differ from the anime. They uses it in an effective way.
Character:10/10
The characters themselves does not differ much from the original VN, anime, OVA. Only this time, it shows much more sides of all other characters, with more focused on Kurisu and Mayuri, just like how in the anime, it explains the other side of Okabe, who displays the chuunibyou Hououin Kyouma side mostly. It also shows the difference between Okabe as a protagonist, and Kurisu as a protagonist. But to me, personally, the difference is caused because of the condition that happens/ed, not because of the character themselves. It also, to me, shows how important Okabe's life was to Mayuri. In the movie, there was a scene that Mayuri sounded and looked very sad because of Okabe, to the point of crying because of him. Daru himself is shown a bit differently due to the movie.
The supporting casts are still the way they were. Not many major changes in themself, except Amane Suzuha. Suzuha will appear again in the movie and this time, her role to the movie itself is much more important than the VN and the anime, not saying that her role is less important back in the VN or anime.
Enjoyment: 10/10
As one would expect, the enjoyment of playing the VN or watching the anime of Steins;Gate is that you would have a plot twist in the story. This time, the plot twist also exist, and it's amazing how it can be done amazingly with a 90-minute movie.
Overall: 10/10
Overall, it is the anime movie you must watch. However, as i said in the beginning, i recommend you play the VN or watch the anime first. This movie relies heavily on their predecessors and how well you relate to Okabe x Kurisu. Also, just like the anime, this movie will leave you many questions so you might want to use your head a bit. Don't worry, the questions has sense in it's answers.

For those who haven't know about Steins;Gate, I'm writing this review to show you some of my thoughts and my impression about this great, even almost perfect anime. To know, I am rating the ANIME, not the visual novel but some rates are based on comparison to the visual novel.
To those who doesn't know a damn thing about Steins;Gate, a short preview about this anime is that it is an anime focused on a time machine and it is science-fiction. I will give no more than that. It aired around the same time as Madoka so it is not a mainstream anime. I will say
...
this, as a non-mainstream anime, you will want to watch it again and again. Let's start with the review then. Starting with the story.
I give 10/10 for the story. If I can, I should give 11/10. Like I said,it is a time machine focused anime but that's just it from me. I will emphasize on the science-fiction part. It is a visual novel based anime from the same name. The original was created from 5pb and the visual novel is also the second visual novel of a science-fiction adventure genre. The anime also follows the same genre. However, one thing that's great about this anime is the science-fiction proportion. While most science-fiction anime consist of more fiction than science, this anime to me is 99% science and 1% fiction. Do not worry, within the anime, they explain every theory in a very simple way for their viewer so that they can enjoy the anime and the theory used regarding a time machine as well. Another great thing are that they leave very small, insignificant loopholes at the ending; they start the anime interestingly, they give climaxes to subplots, they wrap things in an unexpected way for the main plot and many more. If any downside to the anime part, is that it is not really detailed like the visual novel, but this may due to budget limitation, since their producer, White Fox, is a new studio.
For art, I give 9/10. To judge the art part is basically a subjective rating. However, the reason I can give 9 because of the improvements over the visual novel. Many, I believe, people don't play the visual novel due to the art done by huke, the artist that creates Black Rock Shooter. This changes in the anime. The basic art, like the character's face, background, etc is still the same. The only difference is that how White Fox brings it. Subjectively, I would rate it 10/10 but some people would rather not due to the insignificant loopholes but I still say 9 because the visual novel itself does have them and I think, it would be bias for a visual novel based anime to erase those loopholes itself because those loopholes exist from the visual novel, not the anime.
For the sound, 10/10. All seiyuu in the anime are also the seiyuu from the visual novel. Mamoru Miyano plays the protagonist and let me say this, it really gives the protagonist the comedic and serious vibe whenever needed. For other seiyuus, I will not review them because due to the no spoilers rule. For the OP and ED, they only uses one each, except on special episodes. The OP is 'Hacking to The Gate'. It is an amazing OP for me. The background is ordinary however the song itself is great. The ED is 'Toki Tsukasadoru Jūni no Meiyaku'. It is not as great as the OP but it's good enough.
Characters, 10/10. The protagonist is Okabe Rintarou, an 18 years old chuunibyou. With just those characteristics, I can say that he is a very comedic guy. However, there is a very serious side of him as well and that's what also really makes it an interesting anime as well. The other male MC is Hashida 'Daru' Itaru, an otaku, pervert and a hacker. He is 18 years old, a friend of Okabe. Some twist about him will be very awesome later in the anime. The first female MC is Shiina Mayuri. She is 16 years old, Okabe's childhood friend, a very childish character yet can be mature at some times although the childish part plays most of it. Visual novel says that she is an airhead but I didn't see it in the anime. She is a very important character because she gives the story the biggest twist. The second female MC is Makise Kurisu. She is 18 years old. A science genius, the brain of the anime and most importantly, tsundere. She is as important as Mayuri, in different terms of course. Important characters are there as well but I will just say their names. The names are : Amane Suzuha, Kiryuu Moeka, Urushibara Ruka, Faris NyanNyan, Tennouji Yuugo and Tennouji Nae.
Enjoyment are 10/10. This is based in first impression and rewatch value. My first impression of this anime was fantastic. I did not see any review before watching this anime and I think I'm lucky because I was afraid of any spoilers exist within the reviews. That's why I'm writing this review to those who haven't watch Steins;Gate. After I watched it for the first time, I have watched it again and again and again until about 7 times and I am still awed by the anime. Right now, I still watch the anime. I believe there is no greater anime regarding time machine that will beat this one in decades. Simply, because there is too many greatness in the anime. My regret is if only this anime could've been expanded into 2 seasons, which I think, possible. However, it might gives a different vibe so 1 season, 24 episode anime is the best choice. Many anime like Naruto, Bleach and One Piece are filled with fillers and it lowers the rate of the anime. Fortunately, this one doesn't. Also, as episode flies reaching the ending, the vibe increases, although they decreased a bit at some points. However, at the end, they will be at the peak of the peak of enjoyment.
Overall, this anime is 10/10. This anime excels in every aspects and I believe every minor loopholes are accepted because of the greatness that covers it and the fact that loopholes exist in every anime. For those who have watched Steins;Gate, please try your best to review it spoilers-free for those who haven't watched them. And for those who haven't watched Steins;Gate, do not waste your time checking what anime should you watch next. Give your time to Steins;Gate's 1st episode. I give you my word, the 1st episode is a big and great starter for the anime. Once you have watched it, you are hooked and you expect more of them or even greater than them. Do not worry, you will be pleased.

Hi, just for info, i have watched Chaos;Head , Steins;Gate , and Robotics;Notes. The way i will review just Robotics;Notes will be the way of comparing these 3 per parts. For those who haven't watched the anime itself, i recommend not reading my review due to possible spoilers. We off to the plot.
8/10. R;N 's way of plot is like S;G, dividing the plot into two halves. However, R;N even divides the first half into two stories. The first one being the Robotics Club creates a giant robot, a light, comedic, plot. The second one is Kaito solving the reports with a help of an
...
AI, rather normal, mystery plot. Entering the second half, it doesn't really creates a big twist, unlike in S;G where in ep 12 and 13, the big twist start. In R;N, the twist comes around ep 16 or 17, which is more than half of the anime. Now let's start comparing.
R;N first half is a light plot with a touch of mystery, compared to S;G, i will say, the comedic parts are kind of the same. The mystery part is actually developed better than S;G because the mystery, why Kurisu lives, is kind of forgotten and being replaced with the comedy. I can't really compare this to C;H because they don't divide themself. We'll talk about this later. The second half however, seems kind of rushed. While it's true, they manage to combine the light plot and the mystery into one action anime in the end, it kinda gives the latter part somewhat sour compared to the first part. If you compare this to S;G 's, this is actually second rate. To look the anime itself as a whole, this anime is not bad because it manages to combine two miniplot, which looked like there is no connection at the beginning into a one great plot. Compared to C;H, this actually is better because the action sci-fi makes much more sense but compared to S;G, this left much more unanswered questions.
Moving onto art, i have to say, 10/10. The art is the best compared to C;H and S;G. R;N was created by Production I.G and this is a mecha anime, we expect a lot of course. C;H art is just normal with no special art effect to me. S;G art is actually kind of a downer compared to the plot but not comparing, the art itself is actually normal, but better than C;H. R;N on the other hand is actually executed pretty well and the mecha animation is great.
Sound is 8/10. The sound, to me, is not really emphasizing on the anime itself. Since sound actually really emphasize on thriller animes while the thrills in R;N is not really that strong, the sounds helps, but not as much as S;G 's. And, to be fair, the sound actually is defeated as well by C;H, because in C;H, they use the sound good enough to emphasize the delusions. The first OP is actually great, it creates kind of a strong buildup, while the second one support them as well. The same goes for the ED as well. In comparation, C;H OP is kinda neck to neck with R;N and compared to S;G, S;G's OP is neck to neck as well i guess. Even subjectively, these 3 in OP is good. The ED however, i will say R;N is better compared to those three.
OK, characters then. 8/10. MCs are up first. R;N's MC is Kaito, a lazy high-schooler who just wants to play game, becomes a hero that saves the world in the end. I have to say, Kaito's character does not really match the story itself. He doesn't show his optimism even until the very end. He just changed when the world is about to be ruined. Somewhat weird to me and kinda not really lived to the MC part. Comparing time. C;H's Takumi is a delusional, hikkikomori character at the beginning. In the end, he finds out about himself and he changes to a shounen hero and just change himself nearing the end of the anime. S;G's Okarin is a chuunibyou character which changes in the second half of the anime into a serious, problem solver character, a somewhat rare MC in nowadays even the past. I personally say, Kaito is the lowest among these MCs. Basically it's just his attitude though. Next are other characters. In C;H and R;N, the other characters are developed well enough to fill the anime. In S;G, they are developed as well but knowing that there are actually multiple characters that are important as well, this kinda backfires with S;G with eventually developing most only to 3 characters. Female MCs now. R;N MC is Akiho. Her story actually plays a plot in here and her story is developed well. C;H has 7 female MCs, in which all of them are important and developed well, judging the number of episodes and the number of female MCs. S;G has 5 (count to 6 including traps, lol) but only 2 is really developed as a MC while the other 3/4 can actually be an important character as well. But the development of the 2 MCs are awesome. In ranks, i have to say that R;N is the lowest among the other female MCs.
Enjoyment part. 7/10. R;N is a good anime, there is no doubt about that. At least, it will make you to keep watching, unless you got bored by the first half of the anime. Compared to C;H, the enjoyment is better and yet, because the enjoyment is kinda killed in ep 16 or 17, this might make you not to watch it anymore. But considering the twist, it will make you to finish the anime. However, R;N does not keep me at the edge of my seat unlike S;G. S;G's episode is a must watch because it gives the thrill and enjoyment in every episode, especially the second half. I didn't really feel it when watching R;N.
Overall, i give R;N 8/10. The reason for this is because, the art was the best compared to C;H and S;G. What gives a downfall to me is the enjoyment, and the sound. While C;H is a much more disappointment to me, R;N does not give me the thrills i once had in S;G and it kinda breaks my heart. The sound, while not talking about OP and ED, is not used really well to support the anime.
