The direction and changes in promised neverland suited the medium it was being adapted to. Great job on that!

Denpa-teki na Kanojo was excellent, but The Promised Neverland ... what happened man.

I've read the manga and I believe that the adaptation was very good (even if some details were skipped, it's normal).
the anime managed to make me feel something even if I had read the manga before and I really think it's because of his directing and of the fabulous OST, i cried at the end. So thank you Mamoru Kanbe for the anime.

No idea why people are saying The Promised Neverland was ruined. The direction was pretty good and it had an effective tone to it. As a manga reader, this was a good adaptation. Everyone has to calm their elitist asses down.

Stunning job in the promised neverland's finale.
I really don't understand the complaints.
I've read the manga and I believe the translation into the anime was simply perfect.
In my opinion, they choose the perfect chapter to end it, it feels complete even when it wasn't a requirement.

Really bad approach in adapting Yakusoku no Neverland. The monologues were what made the manga so scary, tense; it was what built up the thriller. It was all ruined, we couldn't understand Isabella as we should've, Norman's monologues were erased so we have no idea how smart he was/what he was thinking... Krone was basically a clown in the adaptation, instead of the scary figure she actually was. The anime wasn't bad per se, but when you look at how great the manga was, it's really disappointing. Ruined it...

The directing in this show is pretty good. Some cool masking, some kickass shots (even if they use garbage CGI in the process), and neat ideas like how in tag scenes, the pocket watch often consumes most of the background. Sadly, whoever thought it would be a good idea to make every single fucking background have or be CG is a dullard since it all looks like fucking shit. Same for any CGI props like CGI desks and chairs, CGI shelves, and CGI objects on shelves. Lordie.

Thanks to ruining Neverland...
This director is a lost cause from day 1.

@HirasawaLucky
These examples of other anime adaptations are irrelevant, adapting 35 chapters into 12 episodes is reasonable considering the contents of these chapters.
I could go in detail on why the pacing is terrible, but it'd be pointless if you've convinced yourself that it's not, instead I'll focus on the worst problem with the directing (which you ignored from my previous comment):
Removing all internal monologue!
The internal monologue was the center of all psychological battles and planning in this show, why the hell did they remove it?!
That lead to many problems, for example some things were only explained in internal monologue in the manga, so they had to find other ways to explain them.
Like sister Krone's motives, because they removed the internal monologue, they had her talking to a doll to explain her plans to us!
You can't tell me that's not a terrible decision on the director's part!
