He's the Makoto Shinkai of awkward teenage experiences, brutal realities, and sexual introspection.

His works are beautiful, but they deal with the ugly things in life that other anime creators tend to avoid or overlook.

An astounding, daring filmmaker and I hope to see more from him.

His art is just amazing. He has a special way of interpretation and animating which makes it even more interesting to watch. Nakedyouth is just great, loved it. I think he should try something more and different themes.

Holy crap, that animation style in nakedyouth. And that OST. Fucking hell, this Shishido Kojirou guy should try working on other things besides JUST teenage homoerotic themes. Perhaps something like a Psychological Slice of Life. Fuck. Although the Art of course is understandable for just 1 person.
