She sucks. End of story. I hope she never writes another anime again. Who had the "bright" idea to let her write for Virgin Soul anyway?

You know what, Nina and Charioce actually fit together well. They're both shitty characters.

If you watch this as a standalone then it's not so bad, but if you're coming here after watching SnB Genesis and saying that this is good or better than the first season then you're either a shoujo / drama fag or you're out of your mind.

This woman's a one trick pony Drama writer who had never worked with anime before who blatantly admited in a interview that she didn't understand a thing about Genesis and that she considers Charioce, a character without an ounce of personality, the perfect man.

She took all of what Genesis had built and thrown it into the garbage just so she could write her idiotic romantic drama, because that's the only thing she knows how to do.

I watched the anime yesterday and thought the storytelling was FLAWLESS. The best storytelling I have seen in years. So I came to this site, because I wanted to know what other people think of it. The world is gone crazy! All the characters were great written, the romance was interesting, romantic, cute and I would even say deep. I'm not that young anymore and hard to impress, but Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul was done very well. It makes me seriously speechless to see how so many are hating on it. Ooishi Shizuka did a great job!

Okay, let's face it: First, I agree that she did a poor development of Nina and the King. Really that novel was a cons. There was no problem in having the novel, seriously, I saw no problem; but at least develop the characters more effectively. There was a background story to develop them, but you did not! He concentrated all his forces on a novel and an underdevelopment that did not take the characters anywhere. Second - and this question is for the readers that are here -, come on: who said that this anime is an Isekai? As far as I know Isekai is a term that refers to a character that will end up in a fantasy world, or parallel reality. This series is not an Isekai, it's a fantasy series. In the end I conclude the following: the series was good, it really had a story behind the events and the involvement of certain characters as well as the development of them, but the main characters were underdeveloped, and this from the middle onwards was what left the series somewhat dead and inconsistent.

Honestly, I hope they change who's responsible for the script next season, if we have one.

I don't understand why she is getting so much hate
after so long there's finally an anime which strayed from the generic constraints of isekai anime

She focused so much better on the character development and consequences the defeat of bahamut had on the inhabitants of the land

God that Twilight tier romance in virgin soul was annoying. Someone please keep this person away from anime.
