@llimdaert_hpue Even as someone who's a fan of pretty much everything this guy has touched, I definitely have to concede this point. Nakashima's writing is rife with "if it's in line with the story's themes, it will happen whether it makes any logical sense". It's a problem he's obviously aware of since TTGL and Promare feel like they're poking fun at how nonsensical they are sometimes but it can make for unsatisfying conclusions to arcs/stories.

Has some issues with character arcs. In Kill la Kill's early episodes Ryuuko learns to feel comfortable with showing off her body not through any personal growth, but just by realizing the moral of the arc and immediately making a 180 turn on the issue. In TTGL it's hard to view the perfect hero post-timeskip as the Simon we spent most of the series with prior.

TTGL and KLK are such glorious anime, bombastic action scenes, well-rounded cast of characters, awesome soundtracks and sactisfying endings.
Satsuki and Yoko= Best girls
Kamina and Sanageyama = Best boys.
