guys if you want to blame someone, at least blame the right person.

1. the director is in charge of the storyboards, all he does is write the general flow and gist of the show (pacing etc.)

2. the person who actually does the script composition is hanada jukki. (btw he was also in charge for the script for the original steins gate, no clue what some of you mean by "incompatible in style" or "gotten the fellow from the original")

3. specifics of actions scenes and such are decided by the gengaman (原画マン) or the episode director (演出), so the director quite literally has almost nothing to do with it

You turned Steins;Gate into depressing Anohana.

Not a criticism, but the wrong type of series to direct, completely incompatible with the style of previous series and the VNs.

I can see how you can be great, but for a different market audience.

This guy was apart of shows like Black Laggoon, Gunslinger Girl Trigun the movie but what happened in Steins Gate 0 and the poorly directed action scenes. Still loved Steins Gate 0 but still...

Sorry, but having this guy direct S;G 0 was a big mistake.
The visual novel was leagues more powerful, exciting, and surprising.

And both are presumably working with the same material. Given that, who else can you blame except the director?

They should've gotten the fellow from the original Steins;Gate

Honestly, for a director that finally got to work full time for the third time on a series, he is doing better than most new directors. However, comparing him to the first, obviously there's a difference i talent and it can be his breakthrough. He is mediocre but did a good job with 0.

i gave the original steins;gate 10/10. But now i want to give steins;gate 0 6/10. Man i don't know what the studio was thinking when they hired you. The directing could have been waaaaaaaaaay better. May be i would have commended the director if i haven't seen the original masterpiece steins;gate.
