I love his work, so inspiring!
He is what made Haikyuu seasons 1-3 animation unique and dynamic and everything that it was. Such a good adaptation. If only he was still in charge of Haikyuu now, like back then... Come back, please 😌
I also adore the animation in Kazetsuyo! Just noticing now that he even worked on Your name, on the key animation though, but still, wow.
These shows touch and inspire me. His influence in them added a fair amount to my decision to study animation ✌ Thank you.

Absolutely God-tier animator. His cut in Haikyuu S2E1 got me interested in sakuga in the first place. His recent works in To Your Eternity have been fantastic as well, including a near 2 min sequence. I really hope he does at least a few cuts in the next Haikyuu seasons.

Can we also not only acknowledge his imaginative character design and cool sport action animation but his direction and key animation for some of the most badass anime opening and ending?! Psycho Pass OP2, Haikyuu OP 2, 4 & 5, Haikyuu ED3, Uchuu Kyoudai OP2, Naruto Shippuden OP 1!

This guy is a ridiculously strong animation director. His art is so striking. Definitely one of the best.

His designs for "Run with the Wind" were quite excellent, even if a little reminiscent of Takahiro Kishida's work. There's obviously a better job done in terms of expressions. And the overall softness of the lines is much more friendly and inviting, although I cannot say if that was the design itself or the AD's input. But still... Good job.

Excellent work in the design of characters

Proof that even near-sighted folks can be excellent artists. (Look at the refraction on those lenses! His prescription is almost as strong as mine.)

But yeah, seriously loving the character design for KazeTsuyo (or whatever abbreviation they come up with).
