Anyways, like dtshyk, I'm curious what the hell "live action CGI" means.
It's something like Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Not that masterpiece , please not Pluto ! T_T

rofl pluto isnt a masterpiece -_-

pluto is overrated here on MAL..

20CB and Monster are way more better than pluto..

Only because Monster and 20CB are absolutely epic, doesn't mean that Pluto can't be a masterpiece. ALL OF THEM ARE. And no Urasawa manga could ever be overrated. Pluto rocks, as do Monster and 20th century boys.

All the people with negative comments should get their act together. It doesn't even matter if the movie is good or bad. What is important that the author and the studio/publisher will be paid. Any extra money for these guys is good news, considering the week sales of anime and mangas worldwide and if the movie is successful we might have more.

Since they are making the movie, I hope that they do well with it. Not really good news for me, because it could be terrible.

the only thing they've made so far is Despicable Me, which is supposedly very good from what I've heard...? So it might not be completely awful.

Hey, at least Warner Bros haven't picked it up ;)

Has potential to be pretty good as long as it's handled by the right people.

Why are so many people pissing their pants about this?

It sounds like a tiny production company that will most likely release a straight to DVD/BR CGI version of Pluto. I doubt it will get any sort of significant theatrical burn.

More importantly, if it sucks, how does it detract from Urasawa's original work? It doesn't.

Anyways, like dtshyk, I'm curious what the hell "live action CGI" means.

No fuckin asshollywood. Seriously. It is bad. They will butcher Pluto for sure, since it isn't type of content that live action can handle.
