OVA of Asobi ni Iku yo! Announced [Update March 16]

According to the official website, an OVA of Asobi ni Iku yo! was announced to be released in March 2011. Asoiku characters will play a "certain game" to win a prize. A PR staff of Pony Canyon called it "an undressing OVA", with everything uncovered.

Update on March 16th
According the official website, the March 16th release of the Asobi ni Ikuyo! OVA Special has been delayed to May 18th.

Ah, well that explains why no fansubbed version yet. It doesn't mention why it was delayed again for nearly a month. I'm guessing they're still having production problems due to the earthquake/tsunami.

The thing was to be released only a few days after the Earthquake, which means it should have already been in the can and ready for distribution.

Due to the earthquake & tsunami, it's been announced that it's being pushed back to May 18. Considering what is happening over there right now, they have more concerning things to deal with than this OVA at the moment.

I liked the ending of this series. They all decided to share him. Thats better then the normal endings where no ones choosen, that we are normally given. Perhaps the manga has a more conclusive ending

I'd rather they released a second season. The plot still has quite a bit of unexploited possibilities; the first could have been 24-26 and I certainly wouldn't have minded.

Ova's tend to be pretty forgettable; higher quality productions but less relevant story lines. I'd rather that trend reversed frankly...

Meh; rewatched the entire series today for about the fourth time. It still has some excellent moments; at least as short as it is one can rewatch the entire thing in a day without a problem.
