Aniplex Makes a Public Appeal For ED Themes of OreImo

According to the official channel on Niconico Douga, Aniplex has made a public appeal for the ED themes of Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai anime and offered 100,000 yen ($1,100) as a prize. They'll accept applications from June 1st till July 31st and maximum twelve songs will be selected. The seiyu of the anime will sing the songs and the CD will also be released.

The anime will start this autumn.

Hmm, $1100 doesn't seem too bad for a single song. I'd be tempted to enter if it wasn't completely impractical and pointless to do so.

But it'll be interesting to see what people come up with.

lol, i also thought the price was a little low for buying the rights to a song self-produced. i hope it's like hanamaru kindergarten, which had awesome ED's even though it had a different one for each episode. the show definitely looks awesome, i'll have to read the manga :D
