According to the tweet of Irie Yasuhiro, he is currently working on the storyboard of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood based on Arakawa Hiromu's manuscripts of the manga up to the final chapter. He was overwhelmed by the thick storyline of the finale. He said "Laugh or cry, two months left." The voice and sound dubbing of episode 58 and the film editing of episode 61 have done so far.

Just got home from Japan, picked the magazine up the day it came out. It even came with an autographed memorial clock from Arakawa!

I always wanted to see my favorite animes to conclude and this one will be the first one in long time. Looking forward to it and I hope that they will not cramped too much stuff in the last episode. They can do 65 and 66 if it helps, but please make it work.

It will be 64 episodes because two last chapters have over 100 pages. It's incredible xD

No. It was confirmed that this anime ends after 63 episodes. The 64th episode is new and the news only a few days old.

One of the biggest legends are going down in history and FMA is one of them. I'm sad. I don't want it to end TT___________TT

Ahh. One of the greatest anime franchises ever. This is going to be bittersweet. But, I'm very thankful I got to experience it.

Arakawa is a woman. Why do people automatically think that manga authors are men?

If they don't come out with a bluray box set...I will rage.

One of the few Anime I'll really consider getting in my house. A wonderful Bluray Box Set is much wanted

It feels wrong to know there'll never be FMA again, though.

The new manga she's working on (which I've already started collecting) is pretty awesome as well. Has good potential I'd say

ya that is true. but all good animes must come to an end. even though they have been as epic as this one. i will miss fma with all my heart and soul.
