Special Convenience Store Filled Up With Evangelion Goods [Update Apr 25]

According to Tokyo Walker, a convenience store franchise Lawson opened a new store "Lawson at Tokyo-III" in Hakone, the model city of Tokyo-III. The store is completely covered with Evangelion-related stuff and decorations.

The outward appearance of the store
Eva figures are piled up inside.
Asuka and Rei welcome you before picking up drinks and ice creams.
UCC coffee Rei version
Fried chickens in Eve Unit cups
Evangelion Chips
Countless numbers of Asuka bread
The magazine shelves are occupied by Eva manga
The clerk wears a NERV uniform

Eva fans have been rushing in the store and those Eva items and foods are sold as soon as they were put on the shelves. The store will close on May 17th.

Lawson announced the closure of Evangelion store on April 25th. Unexpected number of people visited the store and they concluded that they cannot secure the safety anymore. The flood of Eva fans caused traffic jams and noises at night.

Lol. But wouldn't it be better to open a second store instead of closing the only one. They had a boom going on.

Yeah, I read about it in msn Japan. It shows that the event is popular to the extend that it had to stop. Too bad the final day was May 17th, but had to end early.
