27 Injured at the Filming Site of Winter Sonata

According to Yonhap News, twenty seven Japanese fans were injured at the filming site of Winter Sonata anime in Jeongdongjin, South Korea. 1,700 Japanese fans visited the site to see the live-action epilogue scene of the anime played by Bae Yong Joon and Choi Ji Woo. The fans were standing on a plywood scaffold, which was blown down by a strong wind. The police is investigating the cause of the accident. No injured in the actors was reported.

They should have insurance to cover this and nobody was killed, so not too big a deal -- just a lack of forethought.
