Web Manga 'Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou' Gets TV Anime in Winter 2026

Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Yawora Tsugumi's Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou (Daily Lives of Torture Part-Time Job) manga on Friday, revealing the main cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Winter 2026.

Siu: Takuma Terashima (Bartender: Kami no Glass)
Mike: Takuma Nagatsuka (SK∞)
Hugh: Youhei Azakami (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri)

Tsumugi began serializing the comedy slice of life manga on Manga Park and Young Animal Web in December 2022. Hakusensha published the fifth volume in December 2024, with the sixth volume going on sale on June 27. The manga has a cumulative 300,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.

Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou ranked sixth in the web manga category for the 2023 Next Manga Awards and placed fifth in the 2023 Web Manga General Election.

Synopsis
This is a world where killing and torture are legalized. Sero, a part-time worker at a torture company, enjoys torturing people every day with his senior colleague, Siu. With the addition of new part-timers Mike and Hugh, fun torture life continues!

The gap between the at-home, easy-going workplace and the gruesome torture is bound to attract a lot of addicts! (Source: Hakusensha, translated)

I'm all for stuff like this, heck NinXKoro is one of my favorites this season.
But this might be too much.

Having no clue about the source material, I wonder how much of the torture they'll be able to actually air. From the PV, it looks like they might not focus on the torture itself, but it might also just be like Redo of Healer for all I know.
