'Tsuyokute New Saga' Announces Pair of Cast, Theme Songs
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Masayuki Abe's Tsuyokute New Saga (New Saga) light novel announced a pair of cast and the theme songs on Wednesday. Originally scheduled for Summer 2023, the anime will now air on Tokyo MX and ABC in July 2025.
4s4ki is performing the opening theme "Enja" and Mahiru Coda (Bucchigiri?!) performs the ending theme "her."
Naoki Mizusawa is directing the anime at Studio Clutch and Sotsu. Kenta Ihara (Isekai Ojisan) is handling the series composition and Hinata Asa is designing the characters. Shachou (SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS) and Hironori Anazawa (Birdie Wing: Golf Girls' Story) are composing the music.
Abe began writing the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2012. AlphaPolis began publishing the novel with illustrations by Ryuuta Fuse in April 2013. The tenth and final volume shipped in June 2018.
Jun Miura began drawing a manga adaptation on AlphaPolis' AlphaPolis Web Manga website in February 2014. The tenth and final volume was released in October 2022.
AlphaPolis is also releasing the manga in English through its Alpha Manga app. Volumes 6 to 8 were released on February 29.
