'Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru Season 2' Reveals New Staff, Promo

The official website of the Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru Season 2 (My Dress-Up Darling Season 2) revealed new staff, the opening theme, and a promotional video on Saturday. The second anime season adapting Shinichi Fukuda's school romance manga will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and Hokkaido Broadcasting beginning in July 2025.

Pop band Spira Spica (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru) is returning to perform the opening theme "Ao to Kirameki," previewed in the promotional video below.

The first season aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2022. Crunchyroll and Funimation simulcast the anime with subtitles and subsequently with an English dub.

Fukuda debuted the manga in Young Gangan, also known by its short name KiseKoi, in January 2018 and ended it on March 21. Square Enix published the 14th volume on November 25 last year, with the 15th and final volume scheduled for a July 25 release. KiseKoi has a cumulative 12 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

Square Enix licensed the manga in English under its Manga & Books imprint in July 2019 and released the 13th volume on April 15. The 14th volume is planned to be released on October 21.

@StewedBeefHaunch I wonder if they'll have time to show my favorite character this season. After all, it was with the chapter introducing him that I first started reading the original manga.

There's no way they wrap up the manga with just a single cour unless they cut out a lot of stuff, which is possible. Though I think it's more likely they come out with a movie after this season to end the series.

The quality looks nice. I hope they wrap it up in just 12 episodes, and won't stretch it too much. There is a lot what can be left out from the manga.
