'Tai-Ari deshita.' Unveils Production Staff, Additional Cast, Teaser Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Eri Ejima's Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai (Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games) manga revealed the production staff, additional cast, and a teaser promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Voice actresses Sayaka Senbongi (Dungeon Meshi) and Shino Shimoji (Shy) are joining the cast as Yuu Inui and Tamaki Ichinose, respectively.

Ejima began drawing the school comedy manga in Monthly Comic Flapper in January 2020. Kadokawa published the eighth volume in October 2024.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in 2021 and released the seventh volume on December 17.

The source material is definitely amazing, but it's going to be interesting what the reaction to using an existing FG license will be, over the made up game from the manga. Hopefully they're not writing themselves into a corner here.
