'Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu' 2nd Season Reveals Supporting Cast, First Promo

The official website of the Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) anime series revealed two supporting cast, a key visual (pictured), and the first promo for the second season on Saturday.

The second season adapting Kenkyo na Circle's adventure fantasy light novel will air on July 10 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by TV Aichi, TV Osaka, and BS NTV.

Voice actors Shoutarou Morikubo (Tokyo Revengers) and Mitsuru Miyamoto (Bungou Stray Dogs) are joining the cast as Jiliel and Mysterious Priest, respectively. Koushou Nagaki is joining the staff as the art director.

Vtuber and singer Kaede Higuchi (Eiyuu Kyoushitsu) is returning to perform the opening theme "CALLING†," previewed in the promotional video below.

Jin Tamamura (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) is returning to direct the second season at Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab. Other returning staff include series composer and scriptwriter Naoki Tozuka (Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou), character designer and chief animation director Naru Nishikori (Meiji Gekken: 1874), and music composer R・O・N (Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha).

Kenkyo na Circle began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2019. Kodansha began publishing it under its Ranobe Bunko label with illustrations by Meru. in July 2020. Kodansha released the ninth volume on April 2.

Yousuke Kokuzawa began drawing a manga adaptation on the Magazine pocket website and app in June 2020. Kodansha published the 18th volume on February 7, with the 19th volume scheduled to go on sale on May 9.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English for both digital and print release in July and November 2021. The 14th volume went on sale on February 25, with the 15th volume planned for a May 20 release.

July 9th at 24:00. now check the second listing, July 9th at 25:35. the third listing states, July 9th 25:30. now the fourth listing is MUCH later on July 14th, 24:30. no idea why BS Nippon TV is airing Episode 1 five days later than the other three networks, but the airtime fits the same pattern. apparently this webwriter is using some OTHER 24h clock than everybody else (including Greenwich Mean Time and Coordinated Universal Time) on Earth. :D because in my experience just about everybody writes Midnight 2 ways. 2400 or 0000. and just about everybody writes a minute after Midnight as 0001. but. meh! who knows, maybe i'm wrong. :D maybe some folks don't flip off the 2400 till 2459 and then 0100?

Crunchy beat y'all to me yet again with a Google notification on my phone of their article on this 2nd Season of '7th Prince'. their article here https://www.crunchyroll.com/news/latest/2025/5/2/i-was-reincarnated-as-the-7th-prince-so-i-can-take-my-time-perfecting-my-magical-ability-season-2-anime-premieres-on-july-9 also states July 9th "The new season broadcasts in Japan beginning on July 9, 2025" but doesn't use the time. so once i popped over here on MAL and read your article Dude, i noticed the dates differed and checked dainanaoji.com.
