@Geark77 Is this one of those movies?

@RobertBobert Yeah, part IV, V, and VI function as soft reboots and don't require you to watch the older stuff. Optionally, you can also try stand-alone films directed by Koike which explore Lupin’s world from different angles, usually focusing on a single character.

@Geark77 I still don't know where to start, because from what I've heard, the current Lupin is actually a soft reboot of the classic one.

@RobertBobert They do both at the same time, so it’s normal.

I'm a little confused that they stopped releasing TV series and focused on various spin-offs etc. Or is this a normal situation for this franchise?

takeshi koike is back, great news.

Finally Koike gives Zenigata his own spotlight show.

I hope it can stand out well as its own thing, despite its tie-in to the Fujimi feature.

Of course the hardboiled Zenigata OVA was a thing all along, how could it possibly be otherwise.
I feel like this one will be shorter and less flashy than the other three considering the full-length movie that is coming up, but still this is amazing news.
