My point is that even people who don't want to see it, end up doing so anyways, because it is being treated as regular anime. I wouldn't be here otherwise.

They already do this with hentai, both on the forums, where it is removed from the rankings and does not appear unless you look for it by name, and in the streaming services, where it doesn't even exist.

I know there's already stuff like this out there, ironically because once I clicked on this, the same type of shit was recommended. The difference is how this is anime and the same shit is hentai. Makes no sense.

We need to acknowledge that there's levels of depravity to both sexual and violent content. Let's use a 1 to 10 scale for both and bring 3 examples for each.

Violence
3 - 86. People die horrible and sad deaths in the context of war. Gore is not the focus of the show, but it is present. It is never glorified or portrayed in any other way than to show the horrors of war.

6 - Attack on Titan. Gore is one if the main features of the show, but it is still not the main point of entertainment.

10 - inuyashiki. Gore is the selling point. Violence is used almost exclusively against the innocent and helpless.


Sexual

2 - fuufu ijou, koibito miman. A LOT of fanservice. There's sexual insinuation, seduction, partial nudity. Definitely not something you would watch in public, but you can talk to most people about it.

6 - Futoku no guild. Young girls get SAed by monsters. Almost complete nudity. But it's presented in a compelling comedy setting, where even though the characters manifest sexual desires, there's still decency and self control to some extent. Definitely 18+, and something you can only chat about with a select few of your friends.

10 - this shit. It's porn. Immoral and depraved, shameless porn. Can only enjoy and talk about it with people steeped balls deep in a bottle of peanut butter.


Now, it doesn't mean that this shouldn't exist or be criminalized or anything of the sort. But let's not pretend that this belongs in or near the mainstream, or is comparable to other ecchi shows. It should be treated as regular hentai, so that nobody who's not looking for this type of content ever comes across it.

1. Futoku no guild, redo of healer (even more shameless as you put it).
2. What 00's or 90's ecchi are you talking about? I don't think there ever was anything this sick back then.
3. Yes. For people with their brains still not turned into mush, this one is "make you sick to your stomach" ecchi. But apparently just the fact that there's no genital nudity shown means that it's ecchi and not hentai? I don't understand that criteria.

I just hope stuff like this doesn't appear on my feed anymore, and that when this one comes out that I will have long forgotten it existed. I won't just read something to confirm any kind of morbid curiosity anymore after this.
