I won't watch it at all. Anime with no male main character is unwatchable trash. I will rate this 1. Two back to back garbage gundam series.

I see no problems with the cast.

The fresh and new combination of production staff as well as bringing Khara onboard make this show a must-watch for me, someone who literally slept on Witch due to not liking its art style. The above 'debate' means nothing in the context of never watching the show, but I do wonder what the potential financial success of the this new iteration will be with its somewhat hyper-cult appeal granted by its staff.

@RobertBobert oh youre the victim now after your anti woke propaganda on lycoris recoil subforum too and not just gwitch and "the knowing kim and her bias" part does not save you at all too so bye

im fine with anti woke people for the most part but youre clearly denying youre not one of them is a big lie

Feb 3, 1:16 PM by deg

@deg Was I anti-woke or not, it does not prove that I accused Gundam of Wokeness and allegedly hated it for it. To which you still have not provided any evidence, but you continue to slander me. I'm already tired of it, so I just add you to ignore list so as not to be distracted by this trolling.

Feb 3, 1:14 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert lol bait? then what do you mean by this if youre not anti woke "Not even to mention the fact that the introduction to the article is already literally screaming about Bias and knowing Kim, I know very well why." especially the knowing kim part seriously stop the big lies

Feb 3, 1:06 PM by deg

@TheMechaManiac ok that is fair enough argument

Feb 3, 11:39 AM by deg

@deg What we're telling is G-Witch was successful because of the yuri fans and not because of the model kit sales as usual.
Only Aerial and Calibarn really moved shelves because both of those are Suletta suits.
The whole problem is @deltahalo241 saying

>lol G-Witch moved model kits and they totally didn't shelfwarm

when the opposite is clearly the case - if the Mobile Suit wasn't owned by somebody named Suletta then the kits shelfwarmed. Being in the green involves ALL merchandise attached to the brand, and let's be honest here, G-Witch made a profit because of the waifu merchandise, NOT because of model kits.

g witch is moe blob shit, this new garbage is moe blob shit, I hope the creators will leave the anime industry because they are failures

Feb 3, 8:26 AM by Catalano

I'll watch it because of Director Kazuya Tsurumaki.

@deg Since you are not only not going to confirm this accusations, but even only strengthen them, it seems that further dialogue is simply meaningless. Once again, I have to regret that I generally paid attention to your bait to me.

Feb 2, 6:57 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert ye more of your future posts will be about hating this shows so be warned other lurkers of this thread about this user just look at his posts and his threads on gquacks and gwitch

Feb 2, 6:54 PM by deg

@deg Come on, show me any quotes where I allegedly mentioned it. Since you accused me of slander, but at the same time you yourself are literally trying to slander me right now, I will not ignore it.

No, dude, it doesn't work like that. Either you give evidence of your accusations, or apologize for intentional slander and baiting.

Feb 2, 6:51 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert you mention on other gquacks and gwitch threads that you hate this new gundam shows like gwitch with its queer plot and if you deny that then youre lying so bad

even if its not about woke stuff you still hate gquacks and gwitch anyway but it does not matter for japanese fans

Feb 2, 6:48 PM by deg

@deg Show where I promote that Gundam is Woke and/or complain about it. Or generally mention Dei in any context. Just a minute ago, I proved to you that Gundam has such a powerful IP that it will quickly become successful with certain efforts. Maybe you will stop provoking the dispute for the dispute, huh? You literally don’t know how to provoke me, accusing me just to blame, even if I spoke the opposite a minute ago.

Feb 2, 6:46 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert ye i know your propaganda that you think gundam is going woke or dei and you hate that but according to the success of gquacks and gwitch it does not matter if they are called woke or dei or whatever since japan still loves gundam and you know that

Feb 2, 6:43 PM by deg

@deg None of these shows were the new TV shows that did not come out for many years. Orphans came out in the first half of the 10s. Build Fighters is generally based on Gundam from other series, so there are no new Mecha. You literally do not get the context, simply repeating the theses to which the answer was already given.

The Witch from Mercury marks the first mainline Gundam series to air during Japan's Reiwa era, the first mainline production in seven years since Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans,

Literally a quote from Wikipedia.

We do not discuss the new Gundam here at all. We discussed the situation after the G-Witch, which you intervened, increasing antagonism and accusing us of slander, forcing us to react to you instead of continuing the original discussion. The only thing, I used it as an example of the Gundam brand power, that you stubbornly ignored.

Feb 2, 6:40 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert lol calling gwitch mid success is just crazy talk when again all the other gundam shows this past decade never gotten to help break financial records like gwitch did and your like thinking there was never a gundam show for a long time when that is not the case at all you got the build fighters series, gundam age, gundam blooded orphans, gundam hathaway, gundam origin, etc in recent decade too

also are you saying gundam gquacks is a success because i never meant it to be a failure anyway so whats your problem?

Feb 2, 6:32 PM by deg

@deg We have already told you several times that these records were due to the fact that it was the first Gundam show for many years, and the first with a female protagonist. Of course, you will beat the record for early sales, when before that you have not released anything new for mor than five years at all. Moreover, as mentioned above, these sales were mainly associated precisely with that Aerial, because it was the first new protagonist's gundam in a long time, and even female for the first time.

Dude, again. Gundam is one of the most popular brands in the history of Japanese media in general. While Code Geass is a product of the era that comes out of its anabiosis once every 100 years only to release some kind of content and fall asleep again. It is simply impossible to argue with you, you not only repeat the theses that people have already discussed again, but even repeat the thesis with me in the dialogue, which I have already responded half an hour ago, LMAO.

Feb 2, 6:27 PM by RobertBobert

@RobertBobert its not mid success when you got other gundam shows from the last decade that did not help break record yearly profits for gundam franchise

also if popularity matters in japan again you will question why goro of code geass never had the same success when it comes to his other new mecha works

Feb 2, 6:21 PM by deg

@deg Dude, you are talking about one of the most successful names in the history of Japanese media. Moreover, in the first case, this was the first new Gundam in a long time (which also determines the declared "record sales" in the year, this year the first show in many years has been released), and in the second it was the premiere of the new Gundam with very big names in the staff. You really must underestimate the brand and names like Anno to say that it had a chance not to make money at least at the very beginning.

Firstly, no one talks about a bad failure, take this scarecrow from the pillar. Only about mid success. Secondly, simply ignoring the entire dialogue, repeating the theses already discussed, you do not bring anything to it. Just warm up the antagonism in the dispute even more, forcing people to be distracted by already discussed things.
