'Ishura' Season 2 Unveils Additional Cast, Teaser Promo, Winter 2025 Premiere
The official website of the Ishura anime series revealed three additional cast and a teaser promotional video for the second season on Tuesday. The new season is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.Cast
Kaishin no Kuuro: Mariya Ise (Hunter x Hunter (2011))
Mayoi no Kyunee: Miku Itou (Princess Connect! Re:Dive)
Chiheihou no Mele: Rikiya Koyama (Fate/stay night)
Ishura adapts Keiso's action fantasy light novel, which originally began on the Kakuyomu website in June 2017, followed by Shousetsuka ni Narou the following month. Kadokawa began publishing the series with illustrations by Kureta under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei label in September 2019. The ninth volume shipped on February 16.
A manga adaptation by Meguri began serializing in Monthly Shounen Magazine in March 2021. Kodansha released the fourth volume on June 17.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in September 2021 and shipped the seventh volume on July 23. The eighth volume is scheduled to go on sale on November 19.
