Light Novel 'Shirobuta Kizoku desu ga Zense no Kioku ga Haeta node Hiyoko na Otouto Sodatemasu' Gets TV Anime

The official X (formerly Twitter) of TO Books announced a television anime adaptation of Yashiro's Shirobuta Kizoku desu ga Zense no Kioku ga Haeta node Hiyoko na Otouto Sodatemasu (I'm the White Pig Nobleman, but With the Memories of My Previous Life, I'll Raise My Little Brother) light novel on Wednesday.

Yashiro began penning the comedy fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2018. TO Books acquired the novel and published the first volume in January 2020, featuring illustrations by keepout (Isekai Yakkyoku). The 11th volume was released on February 15, and the 12th volume (pictured above) is scheduled for a July 20 release. The series has a cumulative 500,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.

Youko Fujioka began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Corona magazine in August 2020. The fifth volume went on sale on February 15.

Synopsis
In a world where Western and Asian cultures mix together, the only son of Count Kikunoi from the Kiryuu Empire, is Ageha. His life was already over at the age of 5. He, who was born in a corner of the country, has zero allies or useful skills in addition to being overweight. What's more, it seems that his brother Regulus, who suddenly appeared on his life and was presented for the Count as his brother, will kill him in the future for his right to succeed...

His only weapons, are the abilities of "cooking and sewing," that he suddenly acquired along with the memories of his previous Japanese life. In the midst of all this, Agega ends up raising his younger brother, but... "My brother is super cute?" And before he knows it, he becomes a full-blown doting older brother?!

Making handmade educational toys for his cute little brother and delicious chawanmushi (steamed egg custard)... With the help of his previous life's skills and my power as a housekeeper, he's able to improve the rough life of the people living in his territory. What in the tarnation is this pile of dogcrap??? It's not like we get like 3-5 isekai per season about mc being reincarnated into a noble family or anything... Same shit over and over again but each time increasingly more dumb, like now we are getting them with shotas and brocons, like tf??

Bruh, the Isekai trend is going down hill with these kind of stories, someone turned into a vending machine , another one turned into a pig and now we've got a shota simping for his little brother, the synopsis is hillarious and the fact that studios are picking like these stories is ... I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

At first I wanted to joke about the strengthening of the shota isekai trend, but then I read the synopsis and realized that the protagonist’s “superpower” this time is cooking, sewing and brokon.
