Light Novel 'Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made' Receives TV Anime in 2024

Production company Pony Canyon opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Kaoru Shinozaki's Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made (Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells) light novel on Sunday, evealing the production staff, a teaser promo, and a key visual (pictured). The television anime is set to air on TBS in 2024.

Shinozaki began penning the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2017. Overlap acquired the novel and published the first volume under its novel imprint in July 2018, with illustrations by KWKM. The 11th volume went on sale on June 25.

Shou Uyoshi began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Gardo magazine in July 2019. Overlap shipped the eighth volume in June 2023, and the ninth volume is scheduled to be released on January 25. The light novel and manga have a cumulative 2 million copies in circulation.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English in July 2020. The ninth light novel volume was released in December 2023. The sixth manga volume went on sale in July 2023, with the seventh volume is scheduled to be released on January 23.

Synopsis
Abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, Mimori Touka and his classmates have been summoned by the world's resident goddess to serve as heroes. Luckily, most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival—except for Mimori, whose abilities bottom out at a measly E-rank. With no further use for him, the goddess banishes Mimori to a dungeon from which no one has ever returned alive. Yet, as it turns out, Mimori's skills aren't so much worthless as they are abnormal. the start seem somewhat familiar, while this only just the trailer I'm quite sure that we're gonna get the same generic bs like arifureata and even solo leveling.... In someway anyway

@EcchiGodMamster Read the manga, this is nothing like solo leveling.
The mc is weak, like really weak, like will die if a stiff wind hits him, however he has absolute 100% status effect chance at a short-ish range, which means if you get close enough, he can chip damage kill you, or you know, a knife in the throat if paralyzed.
Basically the mc is really weak but also capable of being really strong under the right circumstances, thus he needs to use his smarts instead of just being op.

Oh and this series world is basically the definition of the trope "crapsack world", as it's actively enforced to be that way.
