'Sousou no Frieren' Reveals Additional Pair of Cast
The official website of the Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) television anime revealed a pair of additional cast on Thursday. The anime premiered with a 2-hour special on September 29 at 9:00 p.m. on NTV's Friday Road Show programming block, followed by BS NTV and AT-X.
Keiichirou Saitou (Bocchi the Rock!) is directing the television anime at Madhouse. Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) is in charge of the series composition. Reiko Nagasawa is designing the characters, and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's fantasy adventure manga, which began serializing in Shounen Sunday magazine in April 2020. Shogakukan shipped the 11th volume on September 15.
Viz Media licensed the manga in English in February 2021 and published the ninth volume on October 17. The tenth volume is scheduled to be released on February 20.
