'30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii' Announces Additional Cast, Staff, Winter 2024 Premiere

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Yuu Toyota's 30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!) manga revealed additional cast, staff and a teaser promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024 on TV Tokyo.

Makoto Furukawa (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) and Gen Satou (Tengoku Daimakyou) are joining the cast as Masato Tsuge and Minato Wataya, respectively.

Yoshiko Okuda (Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi) is directing the anime at Satelight. Tomoko Konparu (Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi) is handling the series composition. Takahiro Kishida (Haikyuu!!) is designing the characters.

Toyota began posting the boys love supernatural comedy manga on their Twitter in January 2018 before Gangan pixiv began serializing it in September that year. Square Enix shipped the 12th volume on July 23.

Square Enix began publishing the manga in English in 2020 and released the eight volume on August 22.

@erikkamirs I doubt that this was caused by attempts at some kind of "balance". Most likely, the producers have finally reached the uncharted lands of office gay stories.

I'm so happy for this anime adaptation!! I love the manga. Adachi and Kurosawa have such good chemistry and make for a great couple.

We are getting a yuri anime in Winter 2024 (Whisper me a love song), so it only makes sense to balance it out with some yaoi lmao.
