'Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Freedom' Reveals Cast, Second Trailer

The official website for the Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Freedom (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom) anime movie sequel revealed on Tuesday the cast and a second trailer. The movie is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on January 26.

Mitsuo Fukuda (Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED) returns to helm the movie at Sunrise. Mitsuo Fukuda, Chiaki Morosawa (Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED), and Riu Gotou are penning the script.Hisashi Hirai (Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince) is the character designer and Toshihiko Sahashi (Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu) is composing the music.

The original Mobile Suit Gundam SEED television anime aired between Fall 2002–2003 in 50 episodes. The 50-episode Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny sequel anime series aired from Fall 2004–2005, followed by the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Final Plus: The Chosen Future OVA in December 2005.

Never in my mind would I'd ever even think that Kira would end up being the villain.

Nah, Suletta from Witch and Sekai from Build Fighters Try have already proven to be worse protagonists than Shinn. But I agree that he had a lot of potential as a character. Really liked his characterisation in the SRW games.

Hirai's designs are as Hirai as ever. Also really digging the 00s early digital paint look they are going for. Shame about the CGI robots though.

Suletta was meh and largely underdeveloped, Shinn was AWFUL and pissed away a mountain of goodwill built up before

I would not say that she has not been developed. More of a problem was that they made her an outspoken Mary Sue who gets little to no opposition other than two artificially induced plot points. She's really like the female version of Tatsuya Shiba, a cool-looking character who fell victim to her invincibility.

Seed was my 1st gundam show, so it have a special place in my heart.

Yet one other still in ask when dub version arrive can we get originals dub cast too since movie arrive in 2024 plus 20th year of original dub version too.

The women look so damn old now. Cagalli and Lunamaria straight up look older than Ramius was in Destiny. I guess Kira isn't exactly with Zaft if his uniform is blue but the others are red.

Oh, the voice actor for Kagari is changing. Well, I expected it, so there is nothing like dissatisfaction.
There was a new character voiced by Houko Kuwashima, and I felt, "Oh, it's a death flag...".
