'Jujutsu Kaisen' Season 2 Reveals Additional Cast, Production Staff, First Promo

The Jujutsu Kaisen presentation at the RED Stage of AnimeJapan 2023 revealed on Saturday two additional cast, production staff, and the first promotional video for the second season. The anime is scheduled to run for two consecutive cour starting July 6 at 11:56 p.m. on MBS and TBS.

Anna Nagase (Summertime Render) and Takehito Koyasu (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) are joining the cast as Riko Amanai and Touji Fushiguro, respectively.

The anime adapts Akutami Gege's supernatural action sequel manga which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in March 2018. Shueisha shipped the 22nd volume on March 3.

VIZ Media simulpubs the manga digitally with the Japanese release through its Shounen Jump service and shipped the 19th volume on March 21. The Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also began simulpublishing the manga in English in January 2019.

Yeah likely for the moving backgrounds. This is Gosso we're talking about though, he pulls of batshit insane animation stunts and he isn't afraid to experiment, so it could be used in who-knows-how-many ways.

ok i just remember Goso sharing on his twitter some Blender 3DCG sakuga mix and blended well with 2D sakuga he did for Osama Ranking one time so ye he might do that more

Good trailer! Also it is great that Sakurai is here as Geto, I thought that they replace him due to the scandal. Thank God that they haven't done it.

Both were likely animated by Qkawa who was crucial for AoT the final season (Animated Hange vs Colossal Titans), or just similar animation styles, but I'm pretty sure it's Qkawa
