'Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu' Unveils Additional Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website of the Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart) television anime unveiled additional staff, theme songs, the first promo, and a key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime is set to broadcast on April 2 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliate stations' NUMAnimation programming block, followed by CS TV Morning Channel 1 and BS Asahi.

Yorushika (Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu) is performing the opening theme "Shayou," which is featured in the promotional video below. Kohanaramu performs the ending theme "Suu Sentimental."
Hiroaki Akagi (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is helming the anime at Shin-Ei Animation. Jukki Hanada (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) is penning the script and handles the series composition. Masato Katsumata (5-toubun no Hanayome ∬) is designing the characters and Kensuke Ushio (Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Norio Sakurai's slice of life manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Champion in March 2018 before switching to Champion Cross the following month, and then in Manga Cross in July that year. Akita Shoten published the seventh volume in August 2022, with the eighth volume set for a March 8 release.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in December 2020 and released the fifth volume in December 2022. The sixth volume is set to ship on July 18.

Goddamnit. I wasn’t even gonna watch this because there’s already too much shit I’ll be watching in the spring, and I’ve seen enough of the cute girl teasing and flirting with introvert boy type of anime. But now that Yorushika’s doing the opening I have to watch it lol.
