'Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru.' Reveals Supporting Cast, Ending Theme
The official website of the Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru. (My Clueless First Friend) television anime revealed supporting cast members, the ending theme, a commercial, and a key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime is set to broadcast on April 9 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by Yomiuri TV, TV Aichi, BS Fuji, and Animax.Cast
Sumire Kasahara: Wakana Maruoka (Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru)
Kotarou Kitagawa: Kouhei Amasaki (High Score Girl)
Akane's Father: Jun Fukuyama (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!)
Kitri (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) is performing the ending theme "Kokorone."
Shigenori Kageyama (Queen's Blade: Rebellion) is directing the television anime at Studio Signpost. Takafumi Hoshikawa (Candy Boy: Nonchalant Talk of the Certain Twin Sisters in Daily Life director) and Shougo Yasukawa (Ayakashi Triangle) are handling the series composition. Chikashi Kadekaru (Mieruko-chan) is designing the characters, and Toshio Masuda (Kamisama Hajimemashita) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Taku Kawamura's comedy manga, which began serializing in Gangan Joker in May 2018. Square Enix shipped the 13th volume in November 2022.
Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga in English in July 2022 and will release the first volume on March 7. Square Enix also digitally publishes the manga on the Manga UP! app and website.
