'My Home Hero' Announces Additional Cast, Staff

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki's My Home Hero manga revealed on Monday additional cast, staff, and a key visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2023 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV.

Chief Animation Director: Masatsune Noguchi (Hakushon Daimaou 2020), Hiroshi Uchida (Hajime no Ippo: Rising animation director), Kyuuma Ooshita (Build Divide: Code Black), Zijing Zhuge (Kanojo mo Kanojo), Shengxia Lian (Urasekai Picnic animation director), Jin-hui Song (Mahoutsukai Reimeiki), Ryu Seung-cheol (One Punch Man animation director)
Director of Photography: Natsumi Uchida (Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu)
3DCG: Element Factory, Bibury Animation CG

Takashi Kamei (Souten no Ken: Regenesis episode director) is helming the anime at Tezuka Productions. Kohei Kiyasu (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Masatsune Noguchi is designing the characters and Kenji Kawai (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) is composing the music.

Yamakawa and Asaki began serializing the crime drama manga in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017. The manga went on hiatus in October 2021 after the end of its second part. The third part began on the 29th issue on June 20. Kodansha shipped the 19th volume on January 6.

I've heard good things about this manga and seems really interesting. It's probably gonna be a show thats a sleeper until it releases or just gonna be a underrated gem of the year.

I feel like they’re gonna adapt part one of the manga in 12 episodes. It seems like a good stoping point for a single cour season. I’m hoping for two cours but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just one.

I hope for 20+ episodes also. This series is very interesting.
