Manga 'Megami no Café Terrace' Gets TV Anime in 2023

Publisher Kodansha announced on Thursday that Kouji Seo's Megami no Café Terrace (Goddess Café Terrace) is receiving a television anime adaptation. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

Seo began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine on February 17 last year. Kodansha shipped the sixth volume on June 17, with the seventh volume scheduled to release on September 16.

Synopsis
Hayato Kasukabe has been accepted to Tokyo U on his first try. Receiving news of his grandmother's death, he returns to his childhood home, Café Terrace Familia, for the first time in three years to find five strange girls there who claim to be "Grandma's Family"! Hayato's unexpected life in a seaside town with these five girls of fate begins here! (Source: Kodansha, translated)

Yeah. But before that we had multiple eroge adaptations every season. Now we get at most 1-3 each year most of which barely get any attention. I stand by what I said. Also, Aokana was from 2016. Island is a Key VN so you can't really take it as an example since almost all the Key VNs had got an anime adaptation.

Well you got a good point. Island is actually by Frontwing, not Key. Same folks who did Yukikoi Melt and the Grisaia series. Island is hands down the best game I've played since I started gaming in 1989. Definitely give it a shot. There's nothing even remotely like it out there. Also, the production committee for the Remake our Life anime which is currently getting a dub, was formed by Frontwing.

Island is not a Key VN. It is from FrontWing (creators of Grisaia series). Latest Key adaptations are Summer Pockets (with no info yet besides being greenlit, and it is not an eroge) and Prima Doll (which is not a VN adaptation).

HELL YEAH!! It's one of the best currently running harem mangas out there.
Not really a fan of the character designs in the first KV. Hopefully it's just the initial draft and not the final design. Don't want another Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu situation again.
Now if only Temple and Amagami-san could also get adaptations...

Seo Kouji joked about that when he started the manga. It has similarities, but with a Seo Kuji spin....which means yes, it will have ecchi. And also drama, though this one has far less of the drama then his other works. He's pretty legendary for gut wrenching plot twists so I expect it to show up at some point

You don't understand, man. This is the legendary Seo Koji. A brilliant man who manages to portray men in harems is more biased than in yuri manga. Also, this is the dude who invented the dorama plot. You could come up with a paste where he said that some twist in his manga was trolling and anyone could believe it lol.
