Manga 'Majo to Yajuu' Receives Anime Adaptation

The official Twitter of Young Magazine's manga editor announced on Thursday that Kousuke Satake's Majo to Yajuu (The Witch and the Beast) manga will be receiving an anime adaptation.

Kousuke started serializing the fantasy manga on Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd in November 2016. The tenth volume shipped on August 19. The manga has 500,000 cumulative copies of its volumes in circulation.

Kodansha USA announced in October 2019 that they licensed the manga for English publication. The eighth volume was shipped on February 8 with the ninth volume scheduled to release on August 23.

Synopsis
Guideau: a feral girl with long fangs and the eyes of a beast. Ashaf: a soft-spoken man with delicate features and a coffin strapped to his back. This ominous pair appears one day in a town that's in thrall to a witch, who has convinced the townsfolk she's their hero. But Ashaf and Guideau know better. Looks interesting but according to Mangaupdates/Baka-Updates and Anilist it seems to have gore, so i unfortunately will have to skip it.

Was to be expected since it's Seinen but i still hoped it wouldn't have it. :/

This art style reminds me of Drifters and Hellsing and that excites me, so I can't wait for this...The story sounds pretty much up my alley too

Been following this for a few years. A really cool manga I thought would never be adapted. That being said, I can't see this receiving the budget and talent it deserves.
