'Skip to Loafer' TV Anime Reveals Main Cast, Staff, Teaser Promo

DMM Pictures opened an official website opened for the television anime adaptation of Misaki Takamutsu's Skip to Loafer (Skip and Loafer) manga on Wednesday and revealed the main cast, staff, and a teaser promotional video.

Tomoyo Kurosawa (Hibike! Euphonium) and Akinori Egoshi (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) are starring as Mitsumi Iwakura and Sousuke Shima, respectively.

Takamatsu began drawing the slice of life comedy manga in Monthly Afternoon in August 2018. Kodansha published the seventh volume on Wednesday. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English this February and shipped the fourth volume on April 12. The fifth volume is scheduled to release on July 19.

PA Works starting to balance between manga and original now. Staff looks decent all around. Should be an above average adaptation at the very least.

Thought that Paripi Koumei is some kind of exception or special treatment but seems like P.A. Works are starting to do manga adaptations now.
Kotomi Deai is perfect for these kind of manga. I’m getting hyped.

Good hands with Kotomi Deai directing this (because I love Natsume Yuujinchou) and the animation was expected to be for this kind of story.
