'Isekai Ojisan' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, Second Promo

The official website of the Isekai Ojisan (Uncle from Another World) television anime revealed on Thursday additional cast, staff, key visual, theme song artists, and a second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 6 at 10:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by BS11, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. Isekai Ojisan is also scheduled to stream worldwide on Netflix at a later date.

Singer Mayu Maeshima (Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara) is performing the opening theme "story," and Yuka Iguchi (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) performs the ending theme "Ichibanboshi Sonority." The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.

Shigeki Kawai (Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen assistant director) helms the anime at animation studio AtelierPontdarc. Kenta Ihara (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is handling the series composition and script. Kazuhiro Oota (Natsu no Arashi!) is credited as the character design and chief animation director.

The anime adapts Hotondo Shindeiru's comedy fantasy manga, which began serializing on the ComicWalker web manga portal in June 2018. Kadokawa shipped the seventh compiled volume on February 21. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in November 2020 and will release the fifth volume on July 19.
