'Spriggan' Reveals Supporting Cast, Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo

Netflix Japan revealed on Friday additional cast, staff, theme songs, and the first promotional video for the new Spriggan anime adaptation. The six-episode anime series will debut worldwide on Netflix on June 18, with an approximate duration of 45 minutes each.

Bo Blanche: Tetsu Inada (Boku no Hero Academia)
Mirage: Takehito Koyasu (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV))
Maria Clemente: Saori Hayami (Youjo Senki)
Bowman: Takayuki Sugou (Baki)
Rie Yamabishi: Mitsuho Kambe (Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku)

Taisei Iwasaki is producing the opening and ending theme titled "Seeking the Truth" featuring YAHZARAH and "Ancient Creations" featuring Shing02 (Samurai Champloo), respectively. The opening is previewed in the promotional video below.

Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kiznaiver) is helming the series at David Production. Hiroshi Seko (Vinland Saga) is handling the series composition and script. Shuuhei Handa (Little Witch Academia (TV)) is designing the characters.

Hiroshi Takashige and Ryouji Minagawa serialized the sci-fi action manga in Shounen Super Sunday magazine from February 1989 to January 1996.

this will adapt the manga better since its more longer in total runtime than the movie

binging formula isnt good for the hype and overall weekly conversation, but its good for the consumer since you can watch it all of it in a row. I give Wokeflix credit for that.

The movie felt super compressed and production values was its only redeemable quality. Cant see how it can get worse than the movie. If this adaptation actually focuses on proper pacing, the movie might be instead the "must skip" in the future.

I remember hearing from someone that they are adapting the same story as in the movie and not the manga although I guess that's not true.
