Smartphone Game 'Warau, Arsnotoria' Gets TV Anime in Summer 2022

Good Smile Company announced on Wednesday a television anime adaptation of the smartphone game Warau, Arsnotoria (Smile of the Arsnotoria) and opened an official website revealing the main cast, production staff, teaser visual (pictured above), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 6 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS-NTV.

The Nitroplus RPG smartphone game was developed by NextLevel. Good Smile Company published the game in Japan on iOS and Android in February 2021.

A smartphone game adaptation!!?? As far as I know game adaptations that aren't visual novels are just deemed to be mid(like persona and scarlet nexus)so this should be under the hard pass radar for many....... but the thing that has caught my interest is that the game is done by none other than Nitroplus(creators of Chaos;head,Chaos;child, Robotics;notes and the ever famous Steins;gate)and just that alone clicked something in my mind and now I am determined to check this out cause I love everything they make also the artstyle looks kinda dope.

This is super adorable, it needs a little yuri though as even the key frame itself just screams a mix of friendship and soft blooming love. With GSC on the committee, some figures will be made as well.
