'Yofukashi no Uta' Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the television anime adaptation of Kotoyama's Yofukashi no Uta (Call of the Night) manga revealed on Wednesday four additional cast and its first key visual (pictured). The anime series is scheduled to air on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block in July 2022.
Cast
Nico Hirata: Eri Kitamura (Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san)
Kabura Honda: Shizuka Itou (Gokushufudou)
Midori Kohakobe: Naomi Oozora (Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!)
Hatsuka Suzushiro: Azumi Waki (Kanojo mo Kanojo)
Yumiri Hanamori (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) and Haruka Tomatsu (Horimiya) were previously announced as Akira Asai and Seri Kikyou, respectively.
Tomoyuki Itamura (Vanitas no Karte) directs anime with chief director Tetsuya Miyanishi (3-gatsu no Lion 2nd Season episode director) at LIDENFILMS. Michiko Yokote (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!) is penning the script and Haruka Sagawa (Dounika Naru Hibi) is designing the characters.
Kotoyama began the supernatural romance manga in Weekly Shounen Sunday in August 2019, a year and four months after concluding Dagashi Kashi in the same magazine. Shogakukan published the tenth volume on February 18.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English last July and shipped the seventh volume on April 12. The fifth volume is planned for a June 14 release.

Don't forget also that this is also Ohzora Naomi's debut in a romantic show without being an eccentric female lead or a cute girl with a huge ego from CGDCT.
