AND? Ship them if you like it. I don't understand why you keep thinking that someone cares about this.
You obviously do care lol! and it"s clear in the messages you left on my account
You create it yourself. Or was it me who started this flood because of fujobait?

It's kinda amazing how every single discussion about this anime has people whining about the same fucking things over and over.
People didn't have time to get used to the fact that sports shows are now filmed mainly for the slash community. Perhaps the same atmosphere was at one time with the appearance of the first seinen mahou shoujo.

Oh sorry. I forgot that the gay folks privatized victim status to themselves, so any indication of toxicity to straight audiences or content makes them furious. Sorry.
You could save your time and ours by simply writing "no, you!". I have never seen Deku x Ochako fans get involved in any kind of conflict, but I constantly saw obsessive BakuDeku or MomoJiro fans who were constantly salty about the straight canon in the show and constantly came up with shit like "relationship with Deku is ruining Ochako's development as a strong female character" or pretended that Jiro was embarrassed about Momo's breasts because she wanted to fuck her rather than jealous of her developed body.
MHA fandom is considered one of the most toxic for a reason, including due to slash shipping. Don't even try to talk about slash part of fandom. Even in my conservative country, the MHA fan communities are mostly made up of fujo, who non-ironically believe their ships have a chance and that any friendliness between characters means gay tension. And I won't even talk about how people harassed Horikoshi by tweeting him that Deku should be with one of the guys, since he has more screen time with them than with Ochako.
I'm not sure where you're encountering all these nice deku/chako fans, but basically everywhere on facebook groups, and fan forums, majority of them will fight with baku/chako fans, calling the other ships trash.
In addition, I have NEVER seen a single person claiming that a slash ship such as bakudeku is canon or that it will become canon. Given how homophobic japan is that would just be delusional which is why I doubt many, if any, would think that.
If someone thought that, they are just as nuts as the people who ship deku/chako and baku/chako. Most realistic is that there will be NO ships. It is a shounen action battle series not a romance.
If there will be romance it will be near the end of the manga (such as with Naruto and Bleach!)
"no u" implies I'm just shifting attention away... But the fact remains, het ship exclusive fans make up vast majority BNHA fandom. And therefore the vast majority of the toxicity in BNHA fandom.
"or pretended that Jiro was embarrassed about Momo's breasts because she wanted to **** her rather than jealous of her developed body." PS the only time you would see someone who thinks that is in fanfiction. lol
"And I won't even talk about how people harassed Horikoshi by tweeting him that Deku should be with one of the guys, since he has more screen time with them than with Ochako." and feel free to source that ...
Lol, are you non-ironically trying to deny Ochako x Deku? How salty you are with the straight ships in MHA. You haven’t argued why I’m wrong. Ever since KamiJiro came along, I regularly met people who argued that MomoJiro did not just have a chance, but was an obvious canon or were offended when I said that BakuDeku is basically a memetic ship.
"Over time, Ochaco has developed a crush on Izuku. While not outright confirmed, it's hinted that Izuku reciprocates her feelings. For example, he felt immensely touched when Ochaco turned his nickname "Deku" into a positive identity for him, that inspired him to choose it as his official hero name, and felt ecstatic when he saw Ochaco in her skin-tight costume for the first time. He's always happy to see her, and enjoys being around her. Also, He confidently defended Ochaco from Katsuki when he thought she fought him hard because she had guidance from Izuku."

You just have to go to the MHA fandom wiki to read about it. As for the ships, you just need to type "shippers harassed Horikoshi" in Google and see the results.

Hmm, I don't think you've seen the Bakugo/Uraraka and Izuku/Uraraka shippers go off at each other then.
Historically in most fandoms I have been in, including BNHA, slash shippers that ship exclusively slash keep to the slash sections of the fandom. Unless of course they are multi-shipper which includes het ships as well. I ship mainly slash myself, but I'm also in the "IDGAF" group. If an artwork is nice or a fanfiction well written, I'll give literally anything a chance. I just want to enjoy nice things.
At any rate, it is evident that the het-exclusive shippers are the worst offenders for toxic behaviour, at least in BNHA fandom.
On a het-ship post, you will get whining from other het-exclusive shippers. Whining that it isn't their ship, whining that such and such ship is "dumb", even saying that such and such character is "stupid" (because that character gets in the way of their OTP). Most slash-shippers on these posts are either polite or they are multi-shippers that also ship het. Or, they don't even comment because they don't ship it. (it's so hard to scroll past for some people...)
Next, on a slash-ship post, you will get more whining from guess who... het-exclusive shippers!! Saying nonsense such as "don't force them to be gay" or "they're not gay"... Some people just post a vomit emoji to express their distaste. Or they call it "gross". And if you call them out on it, they claim it's "not homophobic", they just "don't like that ship". Yeah, right.
Overall it is the het-shippers who are toxic. There are toxic slash-shippers in every fandom of course, including BNHA, but there are far less of them around than the het ones.
Het-shippers often wage ship wars and ruin fandoms. Bakugo/Uraraka vs Izuku/Uraraka is a classic example of how HET SHIPS are slowly poisoning the BNHA fandom.
ANYWAY, to stay on topic...
New anime by MAPPA, I predict it will be beautiful animation as always, and also filled with queerbaiting just like Yuri on Ice. Always hinting at the gay, but never confirming the gay. Just to draw in people who want to see a nice gay relationship. smh.
Water polo offers a nice chance to show off some topless male anime fanservices as well. Good work MAPPA.

As someone who ship straight MHA ships, I got so much shit in my time defending ships like TodoMomo that hearing about the lack of heterophobia among the MHA slash community is just fun. And no matter how much you call it homophobic, people will not stop negatively about the toxic imposition of gay ships in franchises where there will never be a gay canon. And I can tell you with confidence that slash shippers are almost always the most aggressive and intolerant part of the shonen communities.
Don't worry, we know perfectly well that it will be fujo bait.
i will ship all the guys together! based.

but why is any type of BL romance outside of BL animes considered fanservice and 'fujobait'...
Because it's not romance, and the shows are not tagged Shounen Ai. In other words, it's a way of "teasing" fans, of course regardless of their sexual orientation, but it took the name of "fujobait".
if there is a gay couple in love in a non BL anime then why should it call fujobait? Why can't it just exist?
Jun 4, 2021 11:27 AM by TokenBoy8
I'm glad the industry represents more gay people and I support that. Romance between guys is a show like Given. BL fanservice aka fujoshi bait is guys kind of fighting over a guy or getting worked up and jealous (ie Free! or Sk8). Sometimes it can be misleading words or actions, that's what "BL fanservice" is. BL romance is not fanservice. I probably worded it in a bad way, but some shows are just service-y without story or foundation, but that doesn't mean I'm against fanservice or BL in general.

wait, WHAT? You don't go around making assumptions about people, this is insane. Just because I didn't appreciate BL fanservice once I'm homophobic?
I respect everyone, and what I like and don't like doesn't change that!!!!!!!

Just cause you're a woman that read BL doesn't mean you can't be homophobic, the word 'regular' was very weird

people hate the mha fandom because they are homophobic that's it, it's always gay shippings communities that get hated on yet nobody say anything on the other type of ships

i hope it's show full of BL moments!! just to piss of people

But they are going to be shirtless and wet in the water?
And what's wrong with fujoshis? Shonen action anime are popular with fujos too you know.
Meant for women does not mean fujo-bait. Plus to each their own. I didn't like the fujoshi bait in Sk8, but there are male-only cast sports anime (ie. Bakuten) that have none of that and is still a good anime.
I'm also NOT saying there's anything wrong with that. There are shows that have BL fanservice like Free! that I love.
hating on fujoshi is the subtle way for straight dudes to hate on m/m content and be misogynistic, as a gay guy i support women who read BL
I'm a female. I read BL. I have nothing against fujoshi bait. I just hope this anime is not one because I'm enjoying anime originals that are just sports and nothing else. I'm by no means trying to piss people off.
whats considered fujobait??????? y'all say everything fujobait...also 'regular''..what does this mean...hm
BL fanservice is conisidered fujoshi bait. By "regular" I meant a sports anime with story and no BL fanservice like Haikyuu for example.
Just cause you're a woman that read BL doesn't mean you can't be homophobic, the word 'regular' was very weird

Nobody supports those series and they make no money. Looking at Cheer Danshi 5 years ago.
