'Gokushufudou' Reveals Supporting Cast, First Promo

Netflix Japan revealed two supporting cast, first promotional video, key visual (pictured) and theme song artist for the anime adaptation of Kousuke Oono's Gokushufudou (The Way of the Househusband) manga on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix on April 8.

Shizuka Itou (Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara) is voicing Miku, Tatsu's wife and Kazuyuki Okitsu (Prison School) will play as Masa, his former underling.

Rock band Uchikubigokumon Doukoukai will perform both the opening and ending theme songs "Shufnomichi" and "Goku/Fufukaidou," respectively. The promotional video below previews the opening theme.

Chiaki Kon (Back Street Girls: Gokudolls) is helming the anime at J.C Staff. Susumu Yamakawa (Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san) is handling the series composition.

Oono began serialization of the romantic comedy manga on the Kurage Bunch website in February 2018. Shinchosha published the sixth volume on November 9 last year. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2019 and shipped the fourth volume last September.

y'all butthurt cause its aint animated enough, but its much better than having cgi gross garbage, if a studio have not enough budget they should do it like this, with proper voice actors fitting the characters image and thats all it needs, not some crazy michlen man cgi
that looks like some budget game from germany or poland back from the early 2000's

At least, Tatsu aka main chara is still voiced by Seto Kaiba, though his wife now is voiced by Shizuka Ito, instead Suzuken's wife

That video isn't even live action, it is manga PV. Live action used different actor

When I saw the comments about the animation I thought "oh people are always complaining, I bet it'll look like Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun"

Aaaand it did not. That was not animation in this trailer, that was a slideshow.
With suspicious artwork sometimes.

Miku in the PV where Tsuda-san appeared was voiced by Sakamoto-san. Masa in Manga PV was Suzumura-san. This time it's different, huh.
