Final OVA of Votoms Announced

According to Dengeki Hobby Magazine December issue, a new OVA of Armored Trooper Votoms series was announced to be released next Spring. It will be the final chapter of the series. The article says the new OVA "Gen-ei hen" is probably a sequel to Armored Trooper Votoms: The Brilliant Heretic. The character designs show matured Vanilla Vartla, Coconna and aged Bouleuse Gotho.

According to Anime!Anime!, the new OVA is a six-volume series and the first volume will be released on March 26th, 2010.

Cool, I hope so because no word from Shinsen, and now that Shining Heresy has been subbed after all these years... I'd hate to see a repeat with all these new OVA's and see them get kicked aside too.

Pailsen files was a prequel to the original, AFAIK this is a sequel to the brilliant heretic.

Anyway, good news, but I'd like to see the brilliant heretic subbed first.

o.k let's try again, is it the conclusion of Pailsen files( i know it is finish but hell does he stay in outer space or what?) or is it finally the end of VOTOMS with this OVA?

It's a new OVA series, what kind of question is this? Pailsen Files finished a long time ago.

Still have to watch most of the shows, but for what I've seen from Roots of Treachery, the VOTOMS series are really good

This is actually pretty awesome, espically seeing those 3 characters agian after so long. That and I never thought Takahashi would ever make something around or after the time of Heretic Saint agian considering it didn't turn out exactly the way he wanted it. Sad to see this is probably the last we will ever see of Chrico though...

I'm hoping Shinsen would come out of the woodwork and do it, since they're done a bunch of recent VOTOMS stuff.
