Honestly im a bit pissed off that it is just a movie because its a short time to detail everything but i hope there is coming more than just one movie i mean just tier 1 -6 were being written down in the lightnovel yet so i guess there is coming more stuff
Pretty sure the movie is only covering their adventures on the first floor. And who knows could always spin off into a show or even a series of movies!

Definitely going to watch it.The anime series is so fun and interesting I can't believe that it is going to end after the coming movie.

I can't wait for this! the hype is real!

Hyped for this adaption tbh. Staff change is needed because of how the Alicization saga turn out. The visual and PV is nice too have a HQ shots. And they adapting the half of volume 1, which means no rushing or cutting important details. Because Alicizatin saga has it, then the anime onlies translated being a plothole etc.

And movie is the good choice to pull in newcomers and has a consistent great art and animation. Overall the franchise is continues to thrived.

I didn't think it would be a movie, but I'm down.

Well, I have to wait another six months to see it.

Given that the progressive series is still ongoing it will make sense that they will create a movie and not a series.

Still looking forward to seeing this in the new year though.

First reaction: Progressive, one movie? Really? Whats the point if its not longer than the original aincrad season 1 adaption?

But when its only the first floor its actually rather good. Lets just hope we wont have to wait too long for the next movie, or season if they switch to that.

So yeah Im pretty hyped, the best part of SAO, Aincrad, in full detail and with that quality? Wow.

PS: Since progressive isnt that far itself, I do hope they kinda "hurry up". Obviously covering every floor is not feasable when they take a year or 2 for it per volume/floor

maybe they just made this to cover the plot hole and introduce Argo so they can make the Unital Ring

Highly doubt this is going to be a series of movies , they would have to do like 6 more movies plus everything afterwards, this will most likely become a tv series eventually

They are also only doing 1 chapter from Vol 1 so they would need to do the rest of that volume

Edit: first chapter is 14-15 parts so they probably could do more than one movie for floor 1

Was expecting a show, but given an hour or more of showtime per floor isn't that bad of an idea. Also, 2021 was a lot sooner than I expected.

But SAO progressive is no supposed to be a more developed version of the original SAO? with more enphasis in every floor of aincrad, ¿how they are going to adapt all that in just 1 movie? Lol, it's obvious that is only a excuse for just make some extra money.

uhhh like i said in other reply the movie will only adapt half of a volume (aka just the first floor)
the light novel right now is only in the 6 floor by the way

Meh, bummed that it won't be a TV series, I will watch it, but I'm not excited about anymore.

The previous movie was pretty good, I have high hopes for this.

Honestly i was hoping for a series but at least it dives back into original SAO plot.

It's a fkin movie! LMAO Imagine them filling all the plot holes and giving some character development in 90 minutes or so.

For people who are worried, the movie is only adapting the 1st floor. Obviously, I'd prefer Progressive to be a TV series but I'm guessing this is going to be a series of movies.

Anyways, look at that quality. Goddamn, I love it! xD
