Smartphone game developer COLOPL announced an original video anime adaptation (OVA) of the 3D smartphone shooting game Alice Gear Aegis on Monday. The OVA, in collaboration with figure manufacturers MegaHouse, Max Factory, and Kotobukiya, is scheduled for release in Summer 2021.

The OVA can be accessed by scanning QR codes included with MegaHouse's Sitara Kaneshiya Desktop Army, Kotobukiya's Sugumi Kanagata Megami Device, and Max Factory's Yumi Yotsuya figures. Each episode will have a unique ending for its corresponding character. The OVA is celebrating 1,000 days since the game's release.

COLOPL released Alice Gear Aegis for iOS and Android platforms in January 2018. DMM.com ported the game on PC last June.

I dunno dude. They’re assuming that people would be willing to actually download their game just to watch. I wouldn't lol

It's not even just downloading a game. You can't get the ova without buying physical merch. Moreover, a quick google of the figurines shows the Sitara Kaneshiya figurine is selling for 50-70 USD.

70 DOLLARS FOR ONE EPISODE

This is evil. The hand of the demon Mammon guides this marketing.
heheheh I’ll just wait for the raw...
