'Taisou Zamurai' TV Anime Reveals Additional Cast Members

The official website of MAPPA's original television anime Taisou Zamurai (Gymnastics Samurai) revealed additional cast, the first new visual (pictured), and promo on Tuesday. The anime series will begin airing on October 11 at 1:30 a.m. on the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliates networks. AbemaTV will also stream the show.

Tomoki Takizawa: Hiroyuki Yoshino (Boku no Hero Academia)
Ayu: Nana Mizuki (Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV)
Masahiko Nakanomori: Daisuke Hirakawa (Code:Realize - Sousei no Himegimi)
Jun Doujima: Kaito Ishikawa (BNA)
Shigeru Nishikori: Daisuke Ono (Somali to Mori no Kamisama)
Hiroshi Okamachi: Kengo Kawanishi (Ishuzoku Reviewers)
Ryuu Ryuushou: Hiroshi Kamiya (Haikyuu!!)
Kitty Chan: Minami Tanaka (Kakegurui)
Britney: Rikiya Koyama (Shokugeki No Souma)

Hisatoshi Shimizu (Zombieland Saga episode director) is helming the anime, with Shigeru Murakoshi (Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e) in charge of the series composition. Kasumi Fukagawa (IDOLiSH7) is credited for character designs.

I'm not terribly excited about gymnastic, but it's Mappa so most likely will watch it.

This actually sorta looks like shitto, but it's an anime original with an adult cast, so I'm willing to give it a try.

Seams like a relatively inexperienced director and scriptwriter, hope it will be good. Also @Mako995 I don't think Yuki Kaji is directing it
