'Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima' Reveals Staff, Summer 2020 Premiere

Aniplex released a promotional video for the previously announced TV anime adaptation for the Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle multimedia project, revealing its main staff members. The anime, which will be produced under studio A-1 Pictures, will premiere in July this year on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, MBS, and other channels, as well as streaming on AbemaTV and other digital platforms.

Centered around the rap battle culture, the 2.5D project revolves around six units competing against each other namely Busters Bros!!, MAD TRIGGER CREW, Fling Posse, Matenrou, Dotsuitare Hompo, and Bad Ass Temple. While the official anime website only listed the first four groups, the Division All Stars, which comprises all members of all units in the franchise, will perform the anime's opening theme song "Hypnosis Mic -Rhyme Anima-". The franchise's lyricist, composer, and musical arranger invisible manners will also be in charge of the opening theme.

So, not only they battle with other Division, but also with many anime which aired in same periode and have big name aka all star casts, like Mahouka, Danmachi, Fire force and Re Zero

I don't know what happen later in last September because (maybe) it's last eps, so let's see if they survive after battle with many anime that I said before.

OT: I'm taking a "cautious but hopeful" approach with HypMic adaptation. I mean, I love the franchise so I will find a silver lining in even the trashiest of adaptations no matter what, but would really appreciate if it was decent enough for me to comfortably reccomend to a non-fan as a stand-alone anime. That'd be truly great.

Lol, tbh Idk how to make it better. It always ended up blurry/broken orz.

Well, besides the fact that I hate rap, the guys in this are not really attractive at all, unfortunately. I'm not into "badass" looking characters.

I always wanted to get into Hypnosis Mic even if rap isn't my style but the cast is good and it look interesting. I waited for the anime even if I'm currently playing the new game, glad it will come this summer!!

I've been wanting to get into Hypnosis Mic for a while but I was lazy :P.
I should probably start with the anime first to be more familiar with all the characters before I actually dive into the fandom.

I'm excited to finally see them pretty Hypmic guys animated beautifully (Jakurai is making my heart flutter), glad it's Dakaichi chara designer. Her designs are more than faithful, I almost thought that key visual is illustrated by the franchise original designer.
