MyAnimeList, LLC and HIDIVE, LLC announced a strategic partnership today. The agreement will enable MyAnimeList and the HIDIVE streaming service to share their unique offerings and improve user experience, with planned features and the potential for more in the future.

Atsushi Mizoguchi, CEO of MyAnimeList, hopes the relationship and additional features will facilitate user growth and interaction in the community while also helping HIDIVE users discover new anime.

Starting September 25, MyAnimeList's rating system will be integrated into all of HIDIVE's entries. Before the end of 2019, an exclusive version of HIDIVE's media player will be embedded into the MyAnimeList database, featuring a limited selection of HIDIVE content.

HIDIVE is a multi-platform streaming service based in Houston, Texas with a focus on anime. Users pay a monthly fee for unlimited access to HIDIVE's library. Established in June 2017, it has since acquired the rights to over 500 titles, including many exclusives licensed by Sentai Filmworks. Both companies are owned by Sentai Holdings, LLC.

So that's why Kimetsu no Yaiba gets a high rating. Hi-dive sounds like a nerve gear. Great news and hopefully, not trying to be the next diversity

MAL getting bigger and bigger... Slowly could MAL an own magazine (ether digital and physical) publish like Dengeki and the like. From anime/manga/LN/etc. forum to an multi-media platform.

I wish MAL an healthy and successful partnership/future further!
