'Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin' Unveils New Visual, Additional Staff

The official website of the Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) anime updated on Thursday, revealing the main visual (pictured above) and additional staff members for its new Fall 2019 series Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin (The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods). Production company VAP also posted the first promotional video.

A pre-screening event for the first two episodes will be held at the Kanda Myoujin Hall in Tokyo on September 22. Seiyuu Yuki Kaji and Misaki Kuno will attend the event for a talk show.

Susumu Nishizawa (Hikaru no Go episode director) is helming the new series at Studio Deen, featuring character designs by Rie Nishino (Kakegurui animation director). Rintarou Ikeda (Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records script) is handling the series composition. Hiroyuki Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, and Takafumi Wada are returning as music composers from the previous seasons.

Nanatsu no Taizai adapts Nakaba Suzuki's adventure fantasy manga of the same name, which began its serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine in October 2012. Kodansha published the 37th volume on June 17. The manga has a cumulative 30 million copies of its compiled volumes in circulation.

At times it's hard to tell the animation studio has even changed. Although Meliodas looks a little off in the scenes shown in the trailer, but overall it looks fine. I'm just glad it's getting another season.

Pretty cool PV there! Animation seems fine, a little change but no biggies.

Looking forward to this! Studio Deen aren’t exactly a ‘bad’ Studio, so here’s to hoping this’ll turn out to be one of their ‘good’ ones.

I hope we get the episode count soon too. I’m expecting it to be 25 episodes for the remaining bits of the manga (basically, rushed as heck) but I’m hoping this’ll be 12 so that another season with 24-26 will finalise the story.

I think they need to make a 13 ep season so that the last season can adapt the rest of the manga with 25 episodes.

I just can't wait! I'm waiting for bluray version!

Currently, the anime adapted around 200 chapters of manga, and it's supposed to end up around 350 (currently 320 has been released). Does anyone know the details of this season? Will it be the last season or maybe they will make more then 24 episodes?
