Seiyuu Yuki Yonai Announces Marriage, Arrival of First Child

Voice actor Yuki Yonai announced on his Twitter account on Sunday that he had gotten married to a woman not from the anime industry and that she had given birth to his first child. Yonai commented that he will continue his work.

Yonai is currently affiliated with 81 Produce. Some of his roles include Maro Kitahara from Piace: Watashi no Italian, Sawada from Yowamushi Pedal: Glory Line and Haruki Bandou from Cheer Danshi!!.

He also voiced Nazuna Nito from Happy Elements' Ensemble Stars! mobile game, and will reprise his role in the Summer 2019 anime produced by David Production.

The seiyuu and celebrities often announce their marriage well after it happens. It didn't mean to imply that she got pregnant and then they suddenly got married….

Strangely though, based on his output I wonder how this guy makes enough to put food on the table.

Some people are claiming Japan is conservative but this is a laughable notion at best today.

1. Seiyuu delay announcing their marriage for privacy reasons.
2. Theres nothing indicating that it happened the way you speculate.

I do not quite understand how premarital sex is associated with Asian culture. Yep, Japanese culture is rather conservative and patriarchal, but I doubt that in the 21st century someone will be worried that lovers are having sex. Even extremely nationalistic Mahouka calls it extremely old-fashioned and atavistic, although LN talks about pseudo-noble society in the future.
