'Yagate Kimi ni Naru' Manga Ends

In the seventh volume of Nio Nakatani's shoujo ai manga Yagate Kimi ni Naru (Bloom Into You), which went on sale on April 26, it was announced that the series will end in the eighth volume that will be printed in November.

Nakatani published Yagate Kimi ni Naru in Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh in April 2015. The manga was adapted into a 13-episode TV anime series that was directed by Makoto Katou (Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru) at studio TROYCA. The series aired in Fall 2018 and was simulcast by HIDIVE.

Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the manga in North America and released the sixth volume on March 26.

I'm hesitant reading the manga because I don't know if there's still a chance for a 2nd season adaption. I don't know how far the manga goes from the anime but does anyone know if a 2nd season is realistic or not?

Gonna start reading the manga after it ends. The anime adaptation was my most favorite show of last year (behind Asobi Asobase).

Here's hoping there's a season two. Sales of the first season was good so there might be a chance after all.

I felt like this was coming to an end, and it is. It's sad, of course, but all good things come to an end. All that I hope for is for this to be closed off in a good way and to not be rushed.

ahh this sucks... it felt like it was coming to an end soon, but it doesn't make this news any less hard to actually see. really gonna miss this manga, it's rare that i find a series where i can connect so deeply with the characters. i just hope all my girls can get the happiness they deserve ;-;

Hopefully when it ends we'll get a second season of this. The play was definitely amazing and I wish to see it animated.

I really hope that when it ends, it will end with a good closure too and I really hope they will give an announcement about the S2 of anime. I didn't pick up the manga yet, because I'm patient and I want to see the story it's meant to be fully enjoyed. The anime was just too good for itself to be just a simple advertisement for the manga.

I’ll probably just read it after the final volume is out, if at all.

Well, I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of the 1st Season but I found it to be fairly good nevertheless, so here’s hoping for a solid conclusion and announcement of a 2nd Season to follow.

If I remember correctly the manga is selling very well so I don't think that it will be cancelled. After reading the last chapter it feels like there is not much left of the story to tell so it's no surprising to me that the manga ends in this year. I hope after the release of the last volume the second half of the manga too will get an anime adaptation.
