Kazurou Inoue (Midori no Hibi, Ane Comi) tweeted that he will start a new manga. Titled Aho Genome: Samuzaka Satanic Hair, the story will follow a girl named Gureko Samuzaka who possesses god-like powers. The series will debut in the July issue of Young King OURs that will ship on May 16.

Inoue's most notable series is the eight-volume Midori no Hibi that he wrote in Shounen Sunday between September 2002 and July 2004. A six-chapter spin-off titled Aoi Destruction! was published three years later. An anime adaptation of Midori no Hibi by Studio Pierrot aired in Spring 2004. Media Blasters licensed the anime and released a DVD in North America, and Viz Media printed all eight volumes in English.

Inoue recently published Shitei Bouryoku Shoujo Shiomi-chan in Shounen Sunday Super in 2016. The series ended in October of last year and was compiled into five volumes.

I read a little of Ane Comi a while back, too bad it wasn't fully translated.

Finally he makes another comeback. I'm curious how this new work will turn out. Will probably have much the same brand of humor he's known for.
